Primate Resources
The Primate Resources Division (PRD) is responsible for the Caribbean Primate Research Center’s Animal Use and Care Program. The main task of the PRD is to ensure the Center’s strict compliance to the guidelines and regulations that govern laboratory animals. The PRD provides general management and oversight of the field stations, housing and husbandry, veterinary care, and the maintenance of the Center’s facilities and animal environment. This Division also maintains an available pool of rhesus macaques in optimal condition for research.
